Mark
Managing Member
Mark is Marlette’s husband and the Managing Member of our company. He started his apprenticeship in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 19 as a third generation painter. He has always told people “I get to do what I love everyday”. He works in all aspects of the field including, Special Coatings, Commercial Painting, Industrial Painting and Custom Painting. Before starting his own business he successfully worked for one of the largest painting contractors in the United States. As a foreman he had the opportunity to work on the Mandrian Oriental, San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge and Southwest Cheese Company, (one of the largest manufacturer’s in the world). The Gutierrez Family traveled to Reno, NV where Mark was the foreman for the remodel of the Grand Sierra Resort, and was awarded with “Job of The Year” and the 5 Star Award.

Marlette
Managing Member
Marlette is the wife of Mark Gutierrez and Managing Member of Nevada Commercial Coatings. She is responsible for all of the day-to-day operations of our remarkable company working closely with her husband; supporting the overall company goals and vision. She has over 20 years in management working for various companies in the healthcare industry and other enterprises. She has been able to utilize her skills and abilities that she has learned over the years to incorporate them into Nevada Commercial Coatings.

Stacey
Project-Coordinator
Stacey is Nevada Commercial Coatings Project Coordinator. She maintains the projects documents and filing system. Stacey works with all team members to assist with each project to keep the projects running smoothly. Stacey previously worked for the School District for 9 years as a special education teacher. She developed teaching plans according to the students needs, and collaborated with counselors and parents to help the children develop and socialize.
Rudy
Senior Estimator
Rudy is our Head Estimator and has been in the construction industry for over 45 years. He began as a laborer at the age of 15 years old and at 22 years old, he decided it was time to become a Licensed Contractor in the State of New Mexico as a Mason. Rudy achieved his degree in Architectural Drafting and Design. Rudy examines and estimates the work of construction projects. He conducts the estimation and gathers blueprints, specifications, and other related key documents and explores them to gain a deeper understanding of the project and its requirements. He estimates labor, material, and time requirements. He selects, measures, and tracks important metrics for the projects.
Missy
Office Manager
Missy is the Office Manager at Nevada Commercial Coatings, bringing over 10 years of hands-on experience as a painter and a strong understanding of the industry. Her practical background provides valuable insight into day-to-day operations and supports effective coordination across the company.
In her role, Missy provides comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. Her responsibilities include billing, prequalification’s, managing supplies, organizing meetings and events, handling correspondence, overseeing safety-related tasks, and ensuring overall office efficiency. Known for her attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities, Missy plays an essential role in keeping operations organized and running effectively.
Adrian
Project CoordinatorOffice Manager
Adrian Castro brings over seven years of experience in the painting industry to his role as Project Coordinator at Nevada Commercial Coatings. He began his career leading a crew specializing in high-end custom home painting, where he developed a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Adrian joined Nevada Commercial Coatings in May 2025 as a painter, and within two months, his deep understanding of painting processes and leadership potential quickly earned him a position in the office. In his current role, Adrian oversees project scheduling, coordinates crews, manages materials, and works closely with general contractors and superintendents to ensure every project is completed efficiently and to the company’s high standards.
